For repair shops, body shops and dealers in the Las Vegas valley, getting the part across town quickly often matters more than anything else in the job. This guide covers how to size your delivery, what it costs, and how to make the handoff fast.
Which size is your part?
Falcon prices deliveries by weight, so start with the scale:
- Envelope: paperwork, invoices and anything flat, any size.
- Medium box: packed parts up to 25 lb.
- Big box: packed parts from 25 to 50 lb.
Not sure? Weigh the packed box. If it's over 50 lb, oversized, or there are several boxes, it's priced by quote instead (see below).
What a parts run costs
For a trip of up to 7.5 miles, pickup to drop-off:
- Medium box (up to 25 lb): $59 Rush, $49 Same Day
- Big box (25 to 50 lb): $69 Rush, $59 Same Day
Each longer distance band, 7.5 to 15 miles and then 15 to 25 miles, adds $10. Rush is picked up and delivered within 60 to 90 minutes. Same Day is for orders placed by 2 PM and delivered by the end of the business day. There are no waiting-time fees. All prices are on the services and pricing page.
Rush or Same Day for parts?
Choose Rush when the car is on the lift and the technician is waiting. Choose Same Day when the part is for tomorrow's job, a return to the supplier, or restocking between locations. If you're weighing the two, read Rush vs. Same Day: how to choose.
Tips for a faster handoff
- Book as soon as the part is confirmed in stock. The clock starts at pickup, so the earlier the better.
- Have it packed and labeled. Write the repair order or invoice number and your shop's name on the box.
- Name the counter contact. Add the parts counter's contact name and phone number for pickup, and the person receiving at your shop.
- Add receiving instructions. Note the service entrance, receiving door or gate code in the instructions field.
You'll get an email when the part is picked up and another when it's delivered, with a photo, the time and the name of the person who received it.
Heavy, bulky or several parts
These are priced by quote:
- Parts over 50 lb, or oversized items
- Several boxes in one trip, or several stops
- Runs over 25 miles
- After-hours, weekend and holiday deliveries
