Rush vs. Same-Day Delivery in Las Vegas: How to Choose

Rush delivery arrives in 60 to 90 minutes. Same Day costs $10 less if you order by 2 PM. Here's how Las Vegas businesses pick the right one, with real prices.

Falcon Urgent Delivery

Every courier order comes down to one question: does it need to be there now, or just today? Answering it well saves money on the deliveries that can wait and keeps the urgent ones from slipping. This guide explains the two speeds Falcon offers across the Las Vegas valley, what each costs, and when to choose which.

The short answer

  • Rush / Urgent means we pick up and deliver within 60 to 90 minutes. Choose it when someone is waiting on the other end.
  • Same Day means you order by 2 PM and we deliver by the end of the business day. It costs $10 less than Rush for every item size and distance.

Comparison of the two delivery windows: Rush is picked up and delivered in 60 to 90 minutes, Same Day is ordered by 2 PM and delivered by the end of the business day

What each option costs

Prices are flat and based on three things: what we're carrying, how fast, and the driving distance from pickup to drop-off. For a trip of up to 7.5 miles:

  • Envelope (any size): $49 Rush, $39 Same Day
  • Medium box (up to 25 lb): $59 Rush, $49 Same Day
  • Big box (25 to 50 lb): $69 Rush, $59 Same Day

Each longer distance band, 7.5 to 15 miles and then 15 to 25 miles, adds $10. There are no waiting-time fees. The full table is on our services and pricing page.

When Rush is worth it

Rush makes sense when the cost of waiting is higher than the price difference. Typical examples:

  • A signed document has to reach a title or escrow office before an appointment this afternoon.
  • A repair shop has a car on the lift and the part is sitting at a supplier across town.
  • A clinic or office has run out of something it needs before the end of the day.
  • A client meeting needs a contract, a sample or a prototype in the next hour.

If you're asking yourself whether it can wait, it probably can, and Same Day is the better buy.

When Same Day is the smarter pick

Same Day fits anything that needs to arrive today but not this hour:

  • Paperwork that has to be in hand before close of business.
  • Restocking supplies between locations.
  • Returning parts or equipment to a vendor.
  • Regular deliveries you can plan in the morning.

The key is the 2 PM cutoff. Book before then and choose the time your item will be ready for pickup.

How distance is measured

Distance is the driving distance from pickup to drop-off, one way. You choose the band when you book. If you're not sure, check the route in your maps app. If the real distance turns out to fall in a higher band, we contact you before pickup instead of surprising you afterwards.

When neither option fits

Some deliveries need a custom quote instead of a table price:

  • Items over 50 lb, or oversized items
  • Trips over 25 miles
  • More than one item, several stops or a round trip
  • After-hours, weekend, holiday and emergency deliveries
  • Declared values above $100

For any of these, send us a quote request with the pickup and drop-off areas, what we're carrying and when you need it. We reply by email with a price and a secure payment link.

Booking takes a few minutes

On the booking page, pick the item, speed and distance, fill in the pickup and drop-off details, and pay by card. You get an email when your item is picked up, and another when it's delivered, with a photo, the time and the name of the person who received it.
